| westopolis
A city that rivals the size of Station Square, but is not nearly as well-known. There isn't much to do here, a few shops here-and-there... but there is quite a pleasent park not too far off. It's a nice place to go and relax, and possibly go spend all of your rings.
Westopolis has been taken over by the Eggman Empire!

A gigantic city, bustling with many tourists. There is a fishing dock nearby, so go ahead and fish. Accompanied in this city would be a Five-Star Hotel and a Casino, so go ahead and enjoy yourself! But, be careful of the cars!

A very technologically advanced city, flying cars zoom past on the roads. The few others that aren't using cars are using air-powered boards, Extreme Gear. It's a very expensive city, though... but if you've got the money, it's quite a fun place.

| green hill zone
The sun shines warmly on this area, a perfect little paradise if you love the warm weather. There is also a nice lake nearby to swim in. Have fun, enjoy yourself... just watch out for the monkeys throwing coconuts from the palmtrees!
Green Hill Zone has been destroyed! The Egg Carrier has crashed here.

A heavilly forested area. A lake with a waterfall is here as well, let alone an ancient temple. Several rivers are also randomly placed about the area, and a tiny little hut, as well. Wonder who lives there?

A giant flourishing island, high in the sky. A beautiful emerald-like color, everything bursting with life. There are as well many, many hidden tunnels underground, that very few people know about. Poke around a bit and you'll be likely to find one!

An ancient civilization that was gobbled up by the tide. Now nothing lives here but robots scouring for new prey, but it is still a beautiful place to visit and excavate. If you're lucky, you may find a gem or two lying about, if the robots hadn't collected them already... if you're even more lucky, you may find something better!

A space colony that was active until around 50 years ago, but has been abandoned since. It is quite easy to get lost in here, considering all of the hallways and chambers.... be careful not to fall down the random chasms that enjoy making their homes in the floors [this means you, Maria]! Half of it's size involves the Eclipse Cannon ~ a very deadly device that requires the 7 Chaos Emeralds to activate.

| pumpkin hill
A hilly region in which wild pumpkins grow all year round, and where the day is always caught in a perpetual twilight. Pumpkin Hill is a very spooky place, especially if you are alone. Some say the area is haunted, a place where ghostly apparitions can appear to unwary travellers. The graves that litter the hills suggest it was once a grave yard, however, no one knows for sure.
Pumpkin Hill has been captured by the Eggman Empire! GUN is attempting to recover it!

A very hot, dry area. There are quite a few pyramids all around the area; not to mention, quick sand. Inside the pyramids, it is quite creepy. Don't let the lanterns go out, or you'll be in for a quite terrifying ride.
Sandopolis has been captured by the Eggman Empire!

| robotropolis
A putrid-smelling rathole where not even rats can survive. Smoke-stacks' smog choke the surrounding atmosphere, a very industrial city that just destroys nature and habitats just by giving a glance towards it. This is where Eggman's base is located, head of all the evil that spews across the planet. Robots gush out in huge crowds daily from here, to attempt to deliver more creatures to their metal fates, entrapped in casing and completely brainless.
